It was great to return to Villars and Barboleuse in the summer after all these years.
We enjoyed the beautiful views and mountains of this region. All our memories came back ... It was just too short !!

Three generations had an excellent stay with plenty to do indoors and outdoors.
Excellent walks, beautiful cakes from the nearby patisserie and friendly service from La Terrasse (restaurant).
All in all, a great week, supposedly out of season (November) too! - Will be back for skiing in the New Year.

In high summer, we bar-b-qued on the patio and ate by candlelight surrounded by a million stars, with the gentle sound of cow bells in the distance.
